My name is Da'twan Luckie, professional fitness coach and the owner of Luckie Lifestyle Fitness. I believe that personal health is a non-negotiable. Everyone deserves to live a healthy life, regardless of how many hours they work each week.
13 years ago I was working 40+ hours a week as a manufacturing tech. The second shift lifestyle lead me to obesity, alcoholism, and overwhelming exhaustion. One day I decided to make a change for myself and I never looked back since. Now, I serve busy professionals looking to take back their lives with everything I learned along my journey.

According to research conducted by the American Psychological Association, those who engage in little to no physical activity are more prone to experience symptoms of mental health disorders. A sedentary lifestyle can increase anxiety and depression among individuals working long hours. Furthermore, employees facing chronic stress are twice as likely to experience mental health disorders, with symptoms often exacerbated by job pressures and extended working hours.
Metabolic issues such as obesity and type 2 diabetes are often a result of a lack of exercise, particularly among busy professionals. According to the CDC, prolonged inactivity is linked to chronic health problems, including difficulties in regulating energy balance and glucose levels. In fact, 66% of full-time workers report insufficient physical activity levels.
Continuous long working hours without sufficient rest can lead to burnout. According to a report by the World Health Organization (WHO), burnout is classified as an occupational phenomenon, characterized by chronic stress that results in feelings of exhaustion, cynicism, and reduced professional efficacy. Prioritizing health and wellness can significantly improve overall well-being and help mitigate the risks of burnout.
